Joey Bee earned her B.F.A in modern dance performance & choreography from Ohio University in 2010.and is currently an M.F.A. candidate at Columbus College of Art & Design. Her work explores the transgressive act of exposing private shameful moments to the public. When she’s not in her studio, Joey enjoys taking selfies, talking to her cats (Maya Deren the Kitty & Hazel), and doing impersonations (all of which just sound like Cookie Monster).
